Electricity for HVAC Technicians
This seminar provides the student with an understanding of electricity as it applies to basic HVAC equipment operation. Topics include how electricity is made and how electrical current moves within a circuit. The class will explore the operation of different types of electrical equipment utilized in HVAC systems. Students will also learn how to use diagnostic tools including a voltmeter, ohmmeter and ammeter as a basis for understanding how to learn to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems in HVAC systems.
